The City of Launceston’s Fundraising Event Grants support small-scale events that raise funds for a clearly defined charitable, community or not-for-profit cause, while also delivering a positive public event experience.
Funding is available for events that:
• Encourage community participation and engagement
• Support fundraising for a defined cause or beneficiary
• Activate places and spaces across the municipality
• Deliver positive social and community outcomes
Applications may be submitted for grants of up to $5,000.
These are light-touch grants designed to support community-led fundraising events. Applications should be simple, proportionate, and clearly demonstrate how funding will support event delivery.
